1. Overview
We want you to love your leather sneakers from Buike & Dela. If something isn’t right, we’ll do our best to make it right.
2. Eligibility for Return / Refund / Exchange
You may request a return, exchange, or refund if:
The product is defective, damaged in transit, or does not match the description or sample provided.
You contact us within 5 calendar days after delivery of the product.
The item is in its original condition: unused, with all tags, packaging, and any accessories intact.
We cannot accept returns or exchanges of products that:
Show signs of wear, use, or damage caused by the buyer.
Are not in their original packaging or missing accessories.
Are customized or special-order items (unless the defect is ours).
Were bought on final sale or heavily discounted (if we decide to mark some items as non-returnable because of the discount; this must be clearly shown at purchase).
3. How to Request a Return / Refund / Exchange
Contact us at support@buikendela.com within 5 calendar days of delivery. Include your order number, photos of the defect or damage (if any), and a description of the problem.
We will assess your request and respond within 2 business days, to let you know whether it is approved.
4. What Happens After Approval
If approved, you may be asked to return the product to our address 22 Sule Abore Ojodu, Lagos using a secure method. We may cover return shipping if the fault is ours (defective/damaged product); otherwise, return shipping cost is borne by the buyer.
On receiving the returned item and verifying the issue, we will issue a refund (to the original payment method) or exchange (if the same model/size is available), at your choice.
5. Timeframe for Refund
Refunds generally processed within 7 business days after we receive the return and confirm the defect/damage/etc.
Depending on your bank/payment method, it may take additional time for the funds to appear.
6. Exchanges
If you want a different size, colour, or model, and we have stock, we may allow an exchange (subject to stock availability and return/exchange conditions above).
Shipping charges for exchanging will follow the same rules: we cover them if we made the error; otherwise customer pays.
7. Cancelled or Changed Orders
If you change your mind before the item is dispatched, you may cancel the order and receive a full refund.
Once the item has been shipped, you will follow the regular returns/refund process.
8. Unhappy but Not Faulty
If the sneakers are not defective but you simply don’t like them or they don’t fit well, you may request a return/exchange within 5 days of delivery, under the same condition of original, unused product.
The buyer pays return shipping and restocking fee (if any), e.g. a small fee to cover inspection / handling.
9. Non-Returnable / Refund-Exempt Items
Any item clearly marked as “final sale” or discounted heavily such that it’s non-returnable (this must be clearly disclosed at time of purchase).
Products that have been used, washed, or otherwise altered by the buyer.
10. Dispute Resolution
If you’re dissatisfied with the outcome, you may contact us at support@buikendela.com.
You are also entitled under Nigerian law (FCCPA) to escalate complain to the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.
11. Changes to this Policy
Buike & Dela reserves the right to update or modify this policy. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the version that applies is the one active at the time of purchase.
